Pumpkin Spice Latte
Pumpkin Spice Latte
Ingredients:
1 cup water
2 cups Splenda
1 ½ tsp prepared pumpkin spice
Whipping cream
Strong brewed coffee
One can of Pumpkin Puree
Cinnamon
Stiff Whipped cream
Stick Blender
Syrup: Take one cup of water and heat in pan until just boiling. Turn down heat and slowly add two cups of Splenda and stir until mixture clear and completely incorporated. Add 1 ½ tsp of pumpkin spices. Stir in and let cool. This makes enough syrup for 12-15 lattes.
For each cup:
Put 1/4 cup of cream into a heatproof cup, add a slightly heaping teaspoon of pumpkin puree and a ounce of syrup. Stir together with spoon and microwave until cream is warm. Take stick blender and whip the cream mixture until pumpkin is blended and the top is foamy.
Pour foamy cream mixture into a serving cup. Add hot coffee leaving room at the top of the cup. Stir. Cover with whipping cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
I'm not sure of the carb counts...if someone can help me with that...
