Unhappy no gain in lbs but a + in inches???

I guess I shouldn't complain, but I am.
I've lost over 2 inches in my bust since I started seriously lcing on 3/4. I'm measuring & weighing once a week. Yesterday my 2 inches were back. No weight loss for the last week & an additional inch in my hips. Everywhere else no change.
Where did they come from?
I use the same measuring tape, same bra.....I'm at a loss.
My family are being supportive & trying to get me to focus on how my clothes hang on me differently, but it seriously sent me over the edge. I just wanted to sit down & eat a whole pie.
How can you work sooooo hard & gain inches?

are you working out? when i first started training (or if I'm doing hypertrophy, at this point,) i definitely gained inches that were muscle and not fat. Of course, there is fat COVERING the muscle, so it is a gain in inches until more fat is lost.
Or if you don't workout, maybe it's water???

I get this with TOM approaching. It sucks. Don't stress on it too much, I bet they will go away. My waist is up 1/2 inch due to me having my weekly cheat night last night. In a couple of days it will go back down.

Hormonal fluctuations could TOTALLY account for this; I gain and lose almost a cup size with my menstrual cycle. Even if it's not your TOM, and even if that's not normal for you, I think a lot of people here notice some odd things, hormonally, when they start low-carbing -- heavier or irregular periods, etc. Someone here told me, "Insulin is the master hormone," and said that it has effects on the most surprising things. That could be one of them. Unless you're gaining on the scale, too, I wouldn't waste a second worrying about it. (Says a total beginning, but a total convert and believer.)

I would personally love it if I didn't lose from my bust ...
