Thumbs up Induction report

Well I've officially completed my first 14 day Induction.

My low during these two weeks was 200.5 -- a hair's breadth away from my mini goal. I was bummed the last couple days to see an increase - including today. (Havoc played before, during and after TOM).

But I've entered my measurements, and my official weigh in and I feel great. I have to keep this in perspective.

In 14 days, I have lost 13 lbs!! Not too shabby. And - even better -- I've lost a total of 10.5 inches! Highlights include: 1" off my bust (DH won't like that), 1.5" off my waist, 1" off my "gut", .75" off my hips, 1.75" off one thigh (?), and quarter inch losses off places my calves, ankles, upper arms and knees.

Best of all, I feel great. For the first time, my weight and eating habits seem firmly under MY control. I've got energy, have been sleeping like a log and have a positive outlook.

So YAY for me, and kisses for the good Doctor.

I didn't have any side effects on Induction, aside from being headachey the first day. No problems with constipation and the like. Have been taking supplements, so no leg cramps or any of that.

I plan to stay on Induction at least 2 more weeks before assessing whether to go on OWL.

Thanks to everyone here for all the great advice and support. I feel you definitely played a role in my success!!

Onward!!

Congrats, Kaillean, 13 lbs is *awesome*.. You're doing GREAT!

I have 2 days to go to finish my first 2-week Induction... and have lost 9 so far. In fact, I lost the 9 in the first 3 days and haven't moved since. Of course, I am still drinking coffee and am 53 years old, so perhaps it is to be expected that my loss will be a bit slower. I'm hoping to have a visit from the whooosh fairy one of these days

Thumbs up

Way to go! 13 lbs is really something! I just finished induction yesterday with a total of 6 lbs. Actually I still did an induction day today, and may do another 6 days, for a total 3 weeks. I am thrilled with the loss, but mostly how good I feel.

Thanks Jean and Tess. You're both doing great too - I have a lot to lose and sometimes it seems to come off faster when you have more to lose. Still a long way to go.

But we're all on the right track! As long as the graph is going down, it doesn't matter how fast. That's what I try and tell myself anyway .

Good luck to both of you. May you have many visits from the whoosh fairy!

I think I'm ready for one more round of Induction.

K.
