Whole Foods Markets are stocking 365 Organic organic water crackers, replacing Carr's Crackers and their hydrogenated oils, which have been pulled from Whole Foods' shelves.
Effective immediately, the natural foods grocery chain has removed all products containing hydrogenated oils – the source of trans fats – from its shelves.
"Any product that contained hydrogenated fats has been removed ... and replaced with a similar product made without any hydrogenated fats," says a local representative.
