What would you substitute for...
I am wanting to make an atkins recipe but it calls for heavy cream. What would you use to substitute that? Would slightly watered down LF sour cream or buttermilk work? It's for a blueberry Clafoutis. I am hoping the sub won't change the flavor too much. The ingredients are butter, bake mix, splenda, salt, heavy cream, water, eggs, almond extract, blueberries. If you can think of anything at all I can sub for the heavy cream that will taste okay with the other ingredients that would be great! Thanks so much in advance.
