Question Green Tea nutrition info?

I was wondering if anyone has nutrition information for Green Tea. I wanted to add it to my FitDay, but they only have the regular tea.

Mine's not instant - the usual teabag type - and I wanted to know how many carbs I add on it. (yes, like coffee, like regular tea, green tea also has carbs... sigh)

Would really appreciate if anyone who has the nutrition rundown would share.

Hi

I have no info on green tea, but I would like to know if there is any info on "green tea extract" that is in the multi vitamin I take.

My body can't handle even a *sip* of green tea without unfortunate side effects

Mary

Um, well, thanks for asking...

It either gives me stomach pain and diarrhea... (however one spells it) or a migraine. Generally, I suffer for a few days, and that also can mean being sensitive and dehydrated for that time, too.

Hm. Weird reaction. Green tea shouldn't give you any side effects that you don't get when drinking regular tea.

However, a word of caution - there are these "diet" teas that are kinda green - those can do a number on you. I personally stear clear of those - once, when I tried, I lived in the bathroom for two days. LITERALLY. Had to call in sick.

Regular green tea doesn't do that to me at all. I stick to the ones available at my supermarket and make sure there's no "diet" on the label.

Mind you, I'm in no way doubting that there are people who get affected by green tea in the ways described above.

Yeah, thanks. I actually have been drinking black and herbal teas for years, and with no ill effects. I think it may be the anti-oxidant nature of green tea that, well, anti-oxidizes me!

Two days of greentea extract vitamins and no ill effects yet!

Any info on green tea, like carbs, etc.?
