I dont think so..unless you can figure out a way to roll cauliflower in balls and pan fry it maybe...lol

taters are basically a whole life no-no I think...from what I can they are the highest carbs. I made tater tots for my kids almost everyday and the one day I DID cheat I was popping those little things! lolol wont go there again but anyhow.... search the side dishes recipe section!

I don't know about tater tots. I do zucchini hash browns for breakfast though. You grate teh zucchini with a cheese grater, then squeeze as much moisture out as you can. Fry in a pan like you would hash browns. If you add onions and maybe peppers it could be a good substatute.

Cool I found this...

Found this Mock "tator tot" recipie on another site. I've not tried it yet. Good luck.

Ingredients:
1(1lb bag) frozen cauliflower or one pound fresh
2 TBSP water
4 BSP (1/2 stick) butter, at room temp
2 large egg yolks
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper

How to Prepare:

Preheat oven to 40o. Place cauliflower in 2qt microwave safe casserole. Add water and cover with plastic wrap--cook on high for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain cauliflower and place in work bowl of a food processor(I dont have one so just used my mixer). Add butter, yolks and cheese. Process until smooth, season with salt and pepper. Place mixture in a piping bag or put mixture in a large resealable bag and snip off corner. Pipe cauliflower mixture in 1 inch lengths onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until browned

I got this recipe from Suzanne Somers new book and she says if you can freeze them after you pipe them onto the baking sheet they hold their shape better--I havent ever done this step and they still work fine.

Bebet and Ladybelle,
Both your recipes sound awesome. Nat490 also does the zucchini thing. We better try it while it's still around this season, eh?
The cauliflower recipe is just like the mock potatoes pretty much. They should work fine! Are you gonna try it and let us know how it turns out?

Annie
