Default Vitamins and Carbs

Hi,
I have been taking Atkins Basic #3 and Essential Oils since November last year but as I live in Japan the cost is pretty high (shipping, etc.).
I would like to find some local equivalents here in Japan but am not sure if there are some things I should be careful of when choosing similar products?
For example, I know that Atkins products are made for low carbers but does that mean other companies vitamins may contain carbs or ingredients not good for low carbers? What should I look for?
Any advice would be most welcomed.
Thank you.
Simon.

hello Simon,

It's fine to use another brand of supplement; many folks do. Just read labels and select one that is close to the Basic #3 formula. Make sure the product states that it does not contain: sugar, starch or dairy ingredients.

Otherwise, there's no problem to use an alternate

Thanks Doreen,
I'll have a look around and see what I can find.
The language (Japanese) always makes this kind of search difficult but if it"s only sugar, starch and dairy ingredients that I have to look out for it should be ok.
Thank you.
Simon.

Just be aware of sugar's many disguises ... lactose, fructose, honey, concentrated fruit juice, rice syrup, sorghum syrup, sucrose, dextrose and/or .. glucose.

You need to be a detective!!
