Question Chinese bean sprouts

I can't find a carb value for bean sprouts, as in the kind in a chinese stirfry. I can't help feeling that a pile of bean sprouts tossed and fried in olive oil with red pepper, topped with slices of lean pork cooked in cream and black pepper would make a wonderful and substantial supper! But I need to find out how many carbs to count for the bean sprouts. HHHEEELLPPP!!
Speak again soon.

Hi Sebastien,

Have you checked with www.fitday.com ? I recall seeing bean sprouts there.

I ran it through FitDay (it sounded soooooo good, had to see) Here's what I came up with...

1 cup
Carbs: 6
Fiber: 1

so... 1 cup = 5 grams

Another idea for bean sprouts.

Mix them with eggs, melt butter in pan, make an omelet, add a little soy sauce when it's done and voila, egg foo yung (well, I tell myself it is).

Magic:
I do the same thing! I put in the bean sprouts, finely chopped broccoli, peppers and grated zucchini. Then, add the beaten eggs with a bit of cream, soy sauce and a dash of tabasco sauce. YES, just like egg foo yong! Also, add cooked chicken breast or pork is great, too.
