Exclamation Potassium

Can anyone tell me how to get potassium naturally without a suplement.
I want to know what foods to eat that contain about the same amount as a bannana. Thanks, Leg cramps

This link lists meats high in potassium. I also looked into this and found that alot of vegatables contain potassium.

I am just trying to avoid taking yet another supplement.

I can't blame you for not wanting to take more supplements! However, potassium is one of the few things that you can take that will make you feel better almost instantly on Atkins. It is water soluble so if you're drinking tons of water to 'flush out that fat' then those electolytes go down the drain too.

if you are considering taking potassium please read above link for GENERAL INTERACTIONS (i.e. warnings).

Beef and Fish are 2 of the best sources of Potassium. Some fruits are also high. But, to get your Potassium exclusively from Fruit would contribute too many carbs.

I drink two cups of a potassium broth daily. Of course, that's because I believe Krispin Sullivan's recommendations about how much potassium we need. My web site has the details.
