Hi rc_mom,

As I explained to you elsewhere, you need to buy a book so that you know exactly what you can and can't eat.

If you wish to do Atkins, buy yourself a copy of Dr Atkins' New Diet Revolution, and you'll find in it lists of allowed foods.

If you prefer to follow another plan, do make sure you buy the book, so you'll know what you are doing.

All the best.

Rosebud

Hey, enough hours in these forums and you'll feel like an expert! Once you know the basics, if you do your research you will be AMAZED at how much great food there is to eat. You'll deveop a whole new appetite. I'm not talking for low carb goodies either, like chocolate and other fake treats.

There is so much out there to eat, so many combinations.. and so many variations with spices, so many vegetables! Suzanne Somers has really great recipes, and you can modify most "normal" recipes to be low carb and actually taste better than they did before when you know what to look for in ingredients.

Have hope. Look at the success stories and read as much as you can in these forums. No one can do the work for you.

take care,
Meg
