Default Body Flex????

Has anyone out there tried Body Flex, Greer Childer's breathing and stretching video that only takes 15 - 20 minutes a day and is NOT high impact at all? I was doing it last year for a while and it really seems to work - i need to start it again and would love to know if there's anyone out there with words of wisdom on how it reacts with LCing....Thanks! If you've never heard of it, check it out...Body Flex! (and no, i'm not in any way related to the company, i know i sound like an ad for them!!!

It fits in very well. I use it and like it. I also do some weight training.

I just started it today. I will let you know how it goes. Have you started it again? If so, how are you doing on it?

Default Week One Results

I just measured myself after week one, and I'm ecstatic to say that I've lost a total of 7 3/4". 4" from BF measurements, and another 3 3/4" from other places that I measure on my own.
I really love the workout and am noticing that I have more energy. Even when I was working out with weights, I didn't notice an increase in energy like this. Today I start working out twice a day so I'm excited to see what next week's measurements will bring...

Default BFlex

My cousin tried Body Flex and this is what happened to him:

"Everything else held constant, he lost a lot of fat to a point where he developped stretch marks all over and around his belly"

I tried Body Flex, and it didn't help me at all - not one bit.

I guess some people will grasp the breathing method while others simply can't.

Ahh, I see some other BodyFlexers here!

Yes, I did take up BodyFlex a few years ago when I was doing my first low carb - I found it really good, and very low impact on the joints and stuff. I was even able to adapt some of this to do in the swimming pool!

The first 2 weeks I started, I had a loss of 12" total around chest, waist and hips (more when counting the additional areas, but I thought I'd just count the mid body section which is where I really need to lose...that apple ya know?). I think it's a really great exercise and one thing I like is that you can do this fairly quickly a couple times a day at home or wherever you can get a bit of privacy. I can even usually fit this in on days when I'm on call, so it's great. I hate having to stop in the middle of a hike or something cuz I gotta go somewhere and work!
I stopped doing it, no idea why (same as my low carbing, foolish me!). Why do we stop doing things that work great???

I'm working at getting back into this now.
