Most folks report that they are readily available wherever they sell diabetic supplies ... so any pharmacy, including Walmart, will carry them. They may or may not be on the shelf ... look where they keep the blood glucose monitors, etc, etc ... Some places have them behind the counter, so you have to ask for them, but there's no prescription needed or anything like that.
Bayer makes the name brand Ketostix, and they cost under $10 Canadian for a bottle of 50. My suggestion is that you save yourself some steps and gas money ... and phone a few pharmacies first to see who has the better price.
