Default What is KISS?

I am new to these boards. Have mostly been reading for the past week and am doing the Atkins induction. My question is, what is the KISS thing? I have read about it several times and am sooo curious. I have been doing induction for 2 weeks but after re reading the do's and don'ts of it all I am realising that I havent been eating exactly what I am supposed to so I am starting over. It is mostly veggies that I have not been correct about but I am also stuck on a 7 lb loss and I really want to move on. Any info would be appreciated. TIA!

Hi Kat, welcome!

KISS means Keep It Simple, Stupid/Sweetie and is a way of low carbing without having any processed foods. Here is a link to the KISS Rules: http://www.angelfire.com/rnb/irock/kiss_rules.html

I do kiss occasionaly with great results. My skin gets more clear, so does my thinking, and my weight goes down. Unfortunetly after about a week I go nuts and start adding foods back in

For me when I did KISS I eliminated all dairy and any kind of LC product. I had all the meats, veggies and fats that I wanted. I also used fitday to make sure I was getting enough protien, keeping my fat calories around 70%, and getting at least 1200 calories (with kiss the veggies are so low cal I would get to few if I didn't watch)

Like I said it worked, but the bordom and the pain of balancing everything got to be to much. It really eliminated cravings though to where even when I got off I had no desire for sweets, protien bars, or any other overly processed foods.
