two scoops is 2 oz and take in one shake in the morning and one after the gym so that adds up to 4 oz a day

If you are as active as your fitday profile says, then I wouldn't worry about it. It is showing you with a calorie deficit of over 1,000 calories.

If you want to cut calories a little bit, trying cutting your mayo, oil and pepperoni portions in half. I also notice you have 0 veggies listed, you should at least try to get your 3 cups minimum a day.

Yes you count the veggies carb count. However, if you ate 2 cups of salad and 1 cup of brocolli it would probably add less than 10 carbs. If anything you should cut the whey protein and add veggies. Trust me, getting the veggies is A LOT more important.

I'm finding this all a little confusing.

Rodney, are you following BFL with low-carb nutrition? If you are, read this thread.

http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...&threadid=29683

It's also really important with heavy training to get your body fat measured. Scales tell you nothing about body composition. THey can't distinguish between fat and muscle.

BFL has a "free" day, but there is no "carb up". CKD - cycylical ketogenic dieting - has a very specific way of carbing up. It's not a carb free for all.

Any low-carb plan includes vegetables as part of a healthy, balanced way to eat. Spread out the broccoli throughout the day. Don't have it all in one go.

Karen
