Default Alternatives to eggs

I'm about to start a low carb diet, and I've been looking for breakfast options. Unfortunately, most of these involve heavy use of egg, and I can't stand egg! What are some alternatives for a quick and easy breakfast?

even though I LOVE eggs I sometimes have dinner type food for breakfast. Think out side the box and eat what you like. Flashback- I ate cesaer salad for breakfast a few weeks ago and I also recall a time having leftover fish for breakfast. I was hungry and the fish was cooked and quick to reheat. It was better than grabbing a bowl of fruit loops.
snoop around for some LC muffin recipes. They may have egg in them but certainly are not "eggy" in taste

Hey otmer, I'm also a non-egg eater. What I generally have at breakfast is an Atkins Vanilla shake (mostly for the fat and protein). I've also ate italian sausages and guacamole. Mostly it's non-traditional breakfast items and it works out really well. I would say just about anything that you would normally eat for lunch or dinner would be perfect at breakfast time. You could also do BLT wraps (tomato, bacon, and cheese wrapped around a piece of lettuce), dip those into a ranch dressing.

Plenty of things, just don't get caught up in the mindset of "breakfast must be traditional". For those of us who don't eat eggs, that's a rough spot unfortunately!

Best of luck!

Thanks for the responses, guys. I'm gonna experiment a bit because I'm quite a finnicky eater, but you've given me a few ideas. I'm particularly keen on the idea of a shake, or a muffin, since in the past I've done both of those for breakfast before and I'm quite samey when it comes to food.

That's the end of the third day now no eggs. I am on zero carbs for a few days to see if it will help with last 10 lbs. Just been eating red meats turkey I think back to normal low carb ( minus the high protein tomorrow after the dr. I have to go see about getting a operation for excess skin to be removed. Fingers crossed )

Someone else here mentioned this (sorry I forgot who)

crush walnuts coarsely

add a bit of heavy cream mixed half way with ice cold water to resemble milk

sprinkle with splenda and cinnamon

Tastes like granola!
