You are going to love Curves! I really look forward to going and I have always hated exercise. In fact, I'm going tonight after work (due to my work schedule, I can only go Tues, Thurs and Sat) and I'm really looking forward to it.

Enjoy! And hang in there! I'm losing slower than I had hoped too, but I do think the exercise will help jump start your metabolism and help with losing inches. Try focusing on inches lost rather than just pounds.

Stallqueen - congrats for joining Curves, you'll love it. Why are you lowering your fat intake - the more fat you eat, the better. I lowered my calories but kept fat in the 70% range.

Im confused, thats why. I Think maybe il lose if I lower the fat intake a bit, when I started, I never came on this board and I did not know about the high fat stuff, like addictional fats Im talking about and I lost weight, But it seems that since I have been on here, hearing I should up the fat, I cant lose,
So im confused as to how much per day to eat.

I dont know how to work out this percentage thing...

What am I supposed to do.

I called Curves today for pricing and hours and was quoted a $75 start up fee and then $29/month if I join for a year. Is this the same for everyone? A gym membership is cheaper here and I'd have access to tennis and racquetball courts, whirlpool, etc. I like the fact that it's all women though. I'm still trying to decide which way i want to go. The gym intimidates me a bit.
I just ordered the Windsor Pilates set and some new aerobic tapes too. I need to get moving!

If you decide to have a public fitday.com journal, wise folks can easily check out what you're eating and give advice.
