Question Magic tricks for stretch marks?

[FONT=Arial]Hello-
I am curious if any of you LC diet gurus have come across any magic tricks to lessen the appearance of stretch marks? I notice that I have some in the low stomach area and there is no pride in them (ie. they are NOT the result of giving birth). Please tell me there is something to diminish their appearance.

I use a lotion from AVON called Re-Fine I've been using it for over a month now. It doesn't make them disappear but they have become smoother and less noticable. They use to be red and bumpy mostly on the back of the hips and now are the same color as the rest of my skin and smooth.

I also use CelluSculpt also from AVON, which improved and evened my skin texture where I had cellulite.

Good luck,

Lily

I am using Palmers Coconut Lotion with Vitamin E , But they also make one specially for Stretch marks. Also, since I recently went thru 2 mayor surgeries I have a bunch of Scarring and I am using the Mederma currently to get those fading.
Good luck

Default Vitamin E

You can buy vitamin e gel capsules and break them open, then rub them over your stretch marks. Vitamin E is like a skin miracle...my brother even used it for stretch marks from weight lifting and it literally erased his. I have used vitamin e on my face (to prevent crows feet and fine lines) and legs and been so suprised by the results. The really good news is that it is really inexpensive. Try Walgreen's or any local drug store...
Good Luck
Jenn

Hi everyone...
Tirk 182....it is definitely worth trying and really inexpensive. My brother had really bad stretch marks on his arms from getting bigger lifting weights...he broke the capsules and rubbed the gel onto the stretch marks and says he saw an improvement within that same week. Also, you can take Vitamin E orally and it is great for your nails, hair, and skin. I have used it for a long time and really believe it works. If you want to try it just make sure you buy the gel caps...they should be clear and look a little like beads.

WoW! Thanks for the info on the vitamin e. I have been wondering about it and wanting to use it for a scar I have from a tick bite (yuck) I got years ago and it hasn't gone away. So I think that I will try it on that.

Thanks again for the tip!

thanks i saw something like this from one of those chick shows like the view or something. had some guest saying to buy these and rub them on your skin instead of a prescription or whatever to save money. hell it may have been queer eye for str8 guy, i dunno. but, i have some marks from college from overextending my arms with dumbbells. not smart. most guys get these i think from heavy weights.

I tan each summer. It makes them a lot less noticable.
