Default Snowcone help

Hi, I bought an electric snowcone machine and have read some people use different things like davinci to sweeten it. I made one last night and it took probably 2 dollars worth of davinci. I know there must be something else I need to do. Anyone have ideas for me to use on my Hawaiian Shaved Ice machine? Thanks!

I wish I could help!! I just had to mention what a great idea your snowcones are! I never even thought of making one. I used to be addicted to slush puppies (don't know if anyone is familiar with them), and would LOVE to have a snowcone every once in a while. I'm going to get myself a machine! Sorry again I was no help!! Have a great night!

I actually babysit for a person who owns a snowcone stand. They make their own flavors. They purchase different flavorings and add equal parts water and sugar. They do make sugar free ones with Splenda. I was told it takes a lot more splenda than sugar and they cook it on the stove until it disolves.

Thanks, I guess I can make my own with my liquid splenda. I have several topping I got at a snowcone wholesaler. I tried one last night-bubblegum with a little splenda and whipped cream in a can. It was good for 0 carbs.

Could make up some SF Kool-Aid w/ Splenda and use that?

I have one of those machines and sometimes I use an Atkins vanilla shake, or a pink lemonade crystal light drink (only flavor I like).
