Default need help with fitday recipe

I got this recipe of the kitchen board for breakfast foods and I made it today. Now I am trying to figure out how to add it to my fitday foods eaten. All I know is that it is 2 servings and the ingredients.
Grits casserole
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 cup shredded monteray jack
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 pinches of salt
1 TBSP melted butter

I checked out the values on atkins website, carbgramcounter and tis it was it told me
.25 cup ricotta carb-1.9, fiber-0,net carb-1.9, fat-8.0,protien-6.9, calories-107
1 egg - carb-.6, fiber-0, net carb-.6, fat-5.3, protien-6.3, cal.-78
2 tbsp monter/jack cheese- carb-.1,finer-0,netcarb-.1,fat-4.3,protien-3.5,cal-53
1 tbsp butter- carb-0, fiber-0, net carb-0, fat-3.8, protien-0, cal-34

so, how do i figure what i used to these measurements. When i tried to do it on fitday, it said my carb cout was 10 and fiber 0.
I thought that the carb count was way too high.
PLease help me to understand,
Thanks

I have seen other people comment that they thought fitday was too high on some things. You could always make a custom food with exactly the values you want.

I tried to make a custom food, but got really confused on how to add the items in, I got the values from the side of the carton(pkg), and tried to do it that why, but I still don't think that i did it right.

Default Okay, from my FitDay

I went to tomorrow and plugged it in. One thing that may be giving you a problem is your servings aren't equal.

You listed the calories for 2 Tbs of Monterey cheese, but there is 1 cup in the recipe. ˝cup is in a serving if this recipe makes two servings.

I did it by ingredient
Cheese, Ricotta is what my FitDay lists it as. Go to the serving box and put .5 for ˝ cup.
Same for egg. .5 of one large is this result below
Cheese, Monterey is what I selected for Monterey Jack cheese, again verify serving size.

Butter, .5 of a tbls...

I know it's very frustrating!! But, you can take the figure above and just plug it in as one custom entry if it's something you eat frequently as it IS a pain to plug in each ingredient...

Thanks, It is frustrating, I am almost through my first week of induction, so I am trying to be very careful. I t is so much easier when I get a recipe from a cookbook that lists everything for me, then i can just plug it in.

Default That's not always easy either!!

I've had the FitDay come back and tell me it doesn't add up, and should be such-and-such calories. Especially with items with sugar alcohols... I just fudge those. Especially since alcohol has 7 calories per gram!! Just calculate it out how you're going to use it. Or, I sometimes just plug in what it tells me it is...

Thanks for the little hint about a great new breakfast item (I really should surf the recipe section better!). I just made it for lunch and really could have eaten the whole thing! I calculated it and ran over here to post and 2bthinner beat me to it (thanks 2b!)! So yes - 6 carbs per serving
