Whole Milk is high in fat and protein and also carbs - 12g per 8 oz serving. It's not that it is not allowed - but with 20g of carbs in your 'carb bank' where you spend them makes a difference. Milk is also something you can easily give up (and do not really need to begin with) - it may not feel like it now, but you'll see what I mean in a few weeks. Water is going to become your new best friend, right after fat that is .
Cream (18% or 35%) is very low in carbs (.6g to .5g) and tastes great in coffee and / or tea.
