Default Things I like about this WOL

1) When I sit in an airline seat, my hips do not touch the armrests. When I adjust the seatbelt from the person before me, I adjust it DOWN now.

2) My once too-tight watch not only spins on my wrist, but slides up and down my arm.

3) Even my shoe size is smaller.

4) When I look in the mirror, I think I look "normal." Not quite 'thin' or 'slender' yet, but normal.

5) My engagement ring falls straight off my finger when not pinned on behind my wedding ring which is also getting loose. Soon, I'll have to have both re-sized and a link out of the watch at the same time.

6) On my recent vacation, I got to wear a cute, black peasant blouse, slinky jeans and a belt of gold coins slung low on my sexy hips. Words can't describe how good it felt to make that thing jingle on purpose and not worry about getting looked at in horror as a result.

7) I can buy things at Victoria's Secret.

8) Giving my 'fat' clothes to my sister (who's pregnant).

9) Feeling ok enough about how I look to let people take pictures of me. It made me really sad to see how few I had of me with my son because of how much I hated how I looked when he was an infant.

10) Having my two year old ask for things like 'pepper-noni', 'bocki' (broccoli), grapes and yogurt instead of cookies, candy, chips and pop.

Goodnight, all!

Friday

Cool

Wow Friday! Fantastic!

I'm not crazy about the way I look yet but I'm THRILLED about the way I feel!

I was living on Tagamet, Pepto Bismol and Tums. I was having to prop myself up at night to sleep because my food was backing up in my digestive track. I was miserable. All that ended about the second week with my new WOE. Unbelievably wonderful.

Add to that, my allergies are absent. I used to wish you could buy Nyquil and Dayquil in gallon sizes. Well, June came and went this year and I didn't itch and swell and clog up. I could breathe and see. I haven't had a summer like this in 20 years. Now I am looking forward to October this year (my second 'attack time of the year') instead of dreading it. I am so very thankful for this WOL.

Default thanks for reminding me of allergies

This is my worst time for allergies and it wasn't until the last post mentioned allergies that I realized mine haven't bothered me a bit.

That's something I really like about this WOL.

My favorite thing, today, is being able to not feel starved all the time.

Hi, Friday. I get to try the airline thing tomorrow. I'm flying on Southwest to LA and back. The last time, which was about 4 months ago, I noticed some relief. This time I expect squirming room.

Some of my favorite things about LCing:

1. Not feeling like a bull in a china shop all the time.

2. Going to sleep "when my head hits the pillow."

3. Being interested in cooking good food, not just something quick with which to stuff my face.

4. Exercising.

5. My shrinking (in most places ) body.

And there's lots more that I can't think of right now.

I just came back from a trip - my first flights in over a year - and I know how you feel about those airline seats! I also find that the chairs in movie theatres are MUCH bigger than they used to be. Wonder how that happened?

One wonderful thing for me, is that I haven't had more than a couple of bad asthma days since I started this WOE.

Usually I would get sick at least three times a week, now well, its thrilling to feel almost normal! No other allergies have acted up either.

Makes me one happy puppy !!
