I would just count my blessings, really. I also have been successful getting rid of some of my "off the wagon" weight, but I would NOT depend on going off-plan to help lose weight....
A lot of the "cheat" weight is water that hitches a ride with the carbs as your glycogen stores are replenished. The resulting "loss" after you go back to low-carb is mostly this water being released. I've had to learn this the hard way, and I just don't want to see anyone else suffer!
