Question Bad Breath??

Help Please!!

I am a nurse and feel, since I have started this diet, that my breath is UGLY!!!
I don't want to chew gum, because of the carbs..but since I have been in Ketosis I really am afraid I am offending my patients.
Anyone have ANY suggestions???? Will be glad to hear from anyone.
Thank you for this sight and all the encouragement!!!!

Hi there

Unfortunately keto breath goes with the territory In fact, we all come to love it ( in a weird way) because it is a sure sign that things are working.

Drinking loads of water, eating "greens" like parsley or other green veggies, or sugar free gum are about the only options to reduce it.

HTH

SMINT have packs of sugar free breath minths in peppermint and spearmint - extremely yummy.. and you only need one or two to get rid of the small

If all else fails yo could swig mouthwash (sugarfree of course) every hour or so

Yay for being in ketosis!
