Unhappy day 2 - i feel AWFUL

help......... me.....

I woke up this morning feeling nausea and extremely light headed. whats my problem? no more headaches, which is a plus!! but my system just feels ... out of wack. I have NO energy..... is this suagr/caffeine withdrawal??? I had bacon and eggs this morning and felt a tiny bit better, but not totally.... its like I'm hungry but I'm not at the same time....

I slept o-k last night, but as soon as I got out of bed, I felt AWFUL.... dont get me wrong, I'm not dieing or anything, but I feel very light headed, actually if it makes sense, light bodied...

I also had my first craving last night. this is tough.

The way you are feeling is quite normal. Check out the Tips section in the red bar the top of the page for the complete low-down.

Default I'm right there with ya!

Today is Day 2 and I felt the same way getting up today. It was all I could do to take a quick shower and get the kids distracted before making myself b'fast. I thought I was going to pass out. Once I got food in me I started to feel better but not totally until I had herbal peppermint tea and got to work.

As the day went on, I felt great. I worked out for two hours at the YMCA and I can't believe I'm still awake at 11PM! I'm down 1.5#.

Hi Kristin,

I started this past sunday and sunday and monday were the worst for me.. last night was better and I hope for better results this evening... I got the headaches too, and the run down shoot me already feeling.. Plus I was going out of my freakin mind craving carbs!! I got through it though... You will too.

After being on it strictly for 3 days now as of this morning I am 5 pounds lighter.... So, I will continue with the withdrawal until my body is done getting rid of the stored carbs... once that is done our insulin levels taper off to normal and there are less cravings and a better overall feeling.. i am feeling much better today then I was on monday.. Hang in there and know you are not the only one going through this.

Oh yeah, drink lots of water to help your body flush out the stored carbs...

Hang in there you guys! I felt exactly the same for the first 4 days. By the afternoon of the 4th day, I felt fantastic, and it's only gotten better since then.

Just make sure you're eating enough! I know when I feel awful like that I tend not to eat. You need to eat to keep up your strength. Even if you don't feel like it, eat! Also take some multivitamins if you aren't already! Keep it up though, you are going through the hardest part now, it's smooth sailing from here!

Wendy
