Default fitday grumble

When I choose ricotta cheese on fitday it gives a mix of part skim and part whole milk. Clicking the whole milk portion only allows me to refresh nutrients not add the food to my list. I have been having this problem quite a bit when I click on a specific ingredient. If it is in the database to show me the nutitional information, why can't it be added. A search for whole milk ricotta comes up blank, they only have the mix, part skim, and a dessert.

Ok rant over

How about just entering the info from the carton as a new custom food ?

I think we could easily come up with a long list of grievances and grumbles regarding Fitday. Although it is a wonderful, and FREE, service, it certainly does have its fair share of annoying ideosyncracies.

I think they need a suggestion box!

I did end up editing the item, which it turns out wasn't to different then the numbers it was giving me. I know we aren't suposed to add creamy cheeses such as ricotta and chottage cheese until later, but for only 1/4 cup it is actuly suprisingly low in carbs. Alot of poeple use ricotta in LC lasagnes or breakfasts looking at the recipe sections.
