Question need help with induction

I've been in induction for two weeks and have lost only 5 lbs. I am sort of dispointed, since I haven't had one slice of bread and have given up sugar in my coffee. Please tell me if I am doing something wrong. 10:00 coffee with coffeemate and stevia
11:00 bacon & eggs or sausage
12:00 celery & cream cheese and diet rite
2:00 corn beef & cheese rollups
4:00 Dr. Atkins candy bar and water
6:00 salad with chicken,salad dressing,water
8:00 pork rinds & diet rite
Am I eating too much? is the coffee and diet rite stalling me? And what about peanut butter? I can't find a thing about it.
I know I should be happy with the 5 lbs but I went and tried on bathing suits and just wanted to cry............help someone

HI Donna. Just a couple of things. 1. You shouldnt' be having Atkins bars on induction. 2. Your salt intake may be a little high with corned beef and pork rinds. You need to wait awhile for peanut butter, and then make sure you find one with no sugar in it. Just peanuts. Usually a health food store will have that, and some even make the peanut butter right in front of you.
I would suggest you get rid of the Coffee-Mate and use heavy cream(whipping cream). Coffee mate is usually loaded with sugar.
And you may want to up your veggies and fat a bit. At least 2 cups of sald per day, and either another cup of salad, or 2/3 cup cooked veggies liked broccoli or asparagus.
Don't worry about how much you lose. I have been on induction for 2 months and only lost 12 pounds, but I feel a real difference in my body and my clothes. So don't get discouraged, and keep it up. Do you hav ethe Atkins Book?? It lists exactly what you can and cannot have for induction. Hope this helps.

The amount of your weight loss is actually right on target. During induction, most people can expect to lose 10% of the total amount they want to lose. So in your case, you want to lose 38 lbs, so that would be 10% of 38 which is 3.8 lbs during the first 2 weeks. So, you're actually ahead of the game.

That being said, some things you might want to think about. Artificial sweeteners can have a "stall" effect on some people. (Note that a true stall is 4 weeks without weight or inches lost.) So you might want to reduce and/or eliminate the Atkin's bars and the soda. Also, Atkins says to limit your cheese and cream intake during induction. I'm not sure what amounts are that you're having of that. Watch out for sodium amounts in things like bacon, sausage, and pork rinds. Too much sodium and you will retain water.

Peanut Butter is not allowed during induction. When you get to the point when you can have peanut butter, be sure to check the labels, as they are not all created equal.

You're doing great! Overall, you're food looks good and you're on the right track. Take measurements and use those more than the weight on the scale. It's a much better measure of how you're doing. Check out this great picture of muscle vs. fat .

Good luck!
