Smile Finally!!!

I started induction on 3/3 and I was watching the scale like crazy for the first few days. I lost the normal 4 or 5 lbs of water weight and gained it back within a day or two. I decided I had to stay away from the scale for a while. I have been following induction very strictly and only eating whole, fresh meats, veggies and cheeses and drowning myself in water. I have been doing 30 mins of cardio every other day, and 30 mins strength training about every two days. I decided to step on the scale this morning and I am down five pounds. I can really tell my pants are getting big too. All the hard work definately has paid off and this just makes me want to work harder. I think I will put the scale away for two weeks now....and continue with my meal plan for now. I can feel so much of a difference in my energy levels and appetite and I haven't really been tempted for anything that is not allowed. I made some really high fat dessert my second day on atkins and they are so rich that I can only have a 1/2 of one after dinner. A whole one only has 4 carbs. Allowing myself that treat has kept my eye wandering to other sweets. I made a batch of 12 over a week ago and there are still 8 1/2 left!!
