Question Owl

Hi everyone. Need advice. I am getting terribly bored on Induction, because I am Insulin/Metabolic resistant, and the weight loss is morbidly slow. I had a crash last weekend and gorged on Ice cream and chocolate chip cookies and cereal and bread, and whatever else I could find. I am back on it now, but the weight is so slow incoming off, that boredom is setting in. Should I move to owl, or stick with induction for a while longer?

You're bored? Sounds like one of the reasons listed in DANDR as a perfect reason to move to OWL. You were so bored you went off the diet and ate too much ice cream? Sounds like another great reason.

There are two things you can do: Jazz up your induction with new recipes, etc. or move to OWL and slowly add in foods that will give you variety.

25g is still a level people lose very successfully with. The addition of some nuts or more dairy, for example, probably won't knock you out of ketosis and you should be fine. Experiment, play with new foods, try new recipes, etc.

I hope you break the boredom. I'm very rarely bored on OWL with all the great foods I can eat.

Thanksfor the thoughts. I did it again this weekend. I think I am feeling sorry for myself because the weight is coming off so slowly. I am going to try to stick with induction. Pray for me!
