2 days ago the doctor put me on medications for my back problems - Tylenol w/Codeine (pain); Diazepam (muscle spasms)and Naproxen (pain & swelling) and yesterday I noticed I had no measureable ketosis symptoms (taste, breath, etc.) and today the same so I decided to test myself - negative. As far as I know none of these medications have any sugar and or starch in them so why am I out of ketosis? Frustrating since I was on a roll in the loss department.

Yvonne, I too am wondering about meds. I know that Dr.Atkins says that some meds cause a stall. Im on premarin for hot flashes and Allegra for allergies and decided today to find natural alternatives. I have heard that estrogen slows your metabolisim. We can use some help in the area.
