Smile Water Question

I have been trying very hard to be a good girl and drink water everyday. I have been gradually upping my water quotent(sp?) everyday. But I'm wondering, is anyone concerned with drinking too much water? There is such a thing as being over hydrated.

Yes, it's possible, but you'd have to try pretty hard to do it. It typically happens to people who are over-exerting themselves, like athletes or military personnel on a very hot day. People have died.

...but you'd be hard pressed to do it sitting in front of the computer, sipping.

My understanding is it takes like 4 gallons in a short amt of time to really overhydrate yourself. Just keep on doing what your doing - add it in slowly and I'm sure you will be fine.

I actually read we need 1 quart/liter for every 50lbs of our weight. So basically you only need about 3/4 of a gallon per day to be right on top of things!
