Default Wow I'm doing it:

I got on my scale this morning and low and behold I was down to 165 lbs. The 15 lbs. is really noticeable especially with my jeans. There baggy, oh boy. Went and worked out this morning at 6 a.m. and now after this back to work at home to-day. I have a study where I work when at home, with soft music playing, phone off. Now I just have to ignore my front door bell ringing, so I can complete my task. I try to keep the same schedule at home as if I was the office. Except for my two dogs who like to get some attention once in awhile it's not to bad. I also did some roller blading this weekend with hubby. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Cindy

Default thanks

Thanks for your reply. Our daughter came over for supper to-night and she commented on my weight loss. I guess it really shows, since the jeans are a little baggy now. She happens to be a dietician at one of our hospitals and started to warn me against this woe. You know the lecture on all the food groups. I just handed her the Atkins book and the Protein Power one and introduced her on the site. She still left with the words that Mom your going to make yourself sick. Well I told her to just wait it out and I will show her "lol", by my progress. I told her to do some research first on the web site before we discuss this again.

Default hey cindy

Just read your last post and Im sorry that your daughter has a negitive attitude towards your new WOL BUT can U blame her reaction? She is a dietican so she has been programed to believed u need to eat a lot from every food group. All of society for yrs and yrs have been told the same thing and because of that we have a lot of unhealthy over weight people. I have had some critisim aswell, one guy said "eating all those eggs will cause you to have a heart attack" Well we know thats not true but until more people are informed about how healthy eating low carbs is then we will take a lot of flack. So my advice is to keep doing what U are doing and let her see for herself how well U look and feel.
