Default WOO HOOO!

So I am on day 5 of this LC'ing. I have gone FIVE days with no pasta, rice, or potatoes. This in itself is HUGE for me.

I don't have a scale, so I have no way to track the pounds I have lost, but I can FEEL it. That means more to me than anything. I love coming here every day and reading all the posts. Everyone here has a different background, and is amazingly supportive. I love that. I have no support for this at home. My boyfriend thinks that what I am doing is absurd, and it's discouraging. If I can stay positive and stay excited, I KNOW I can do it.

I just wanted to really say "thank you" for everyone here being everyone elses cheerleaders!

Default Hi tgrlily!

Congrats on 5 days! They were the toughest for me. I'm hoping your BF eventually will support your new lifestyle. Doesn't make sense to not support some one who is trying to be a healthier person.

Good luck!

Congrats to you!!

My DH thought lc eating was the weirdest thing he'd ever heard of until I lost 25 lbs... then 30...

Your boyfriend will come around. Hang in there!

p.s. Incidentally, I am a scale slave, but how my clothes get bigger and bigger is much more rewarding.
