Angry Binge: In the worst way

Well, I went on a road trip this past weekend and I stocked up on some pork rinds and I thought I was doing ok. On Monday I weighed in and I gained a whopping 12 pounds!! I was soooo depressed I went straight to Mcdonalds and ordered everything I missed eating. Then I went and bought chocolate, cup cakes, you name it I ate it. I'm so bloated and depressed. Maybe I'm supposed to be overweight; but Im a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. So with that said, Im going to start again tomorrow fresh and KISS, no precessed foods, frakenfoods, Atkins products (shakes, bars etc.) I guess its good that I realized my mistakes now I can do this WOE THE RIGHT WAY. Wish me luck and GOD BLESS!!

Thanks for the encouragement! Well it was a 6 hour trip and I stocked up on pork rinds and it was not practical to drink all the water I usually do. I also bought some advantage bars and had some buffolo wings (perhaps there was sugar in the sauce?). I probably had WAY too much salt which led to water retention. Well thats all in the past and I definately learned my lesson. Today is day 1 and I K.I.S.S.

I cheated for a week and a half and went back on induction having gained 5 pounds and actually lost 11 in the first week. Which means a net loss of 6 pounds. I'm sure you'll do great! Don't worry! I bet a lot of it is water.

I agree with missaec I bet most of it is simply water. Get back on track and it will dissapear quickly. Good luck.

Many of us have never been honest about our food, so kudos to you for coming clean. You have a plan and are going to work it. Good for you!

Take care and be gentle with yourself.

yes, you are right to assume that it is from the salt. pork rinds are LOADED with them. don't give up, scales love to make you feel bad...go by measurements instead from now on so you don't get so discouraged!
