Talking Headed back in the right direction!

I usually don't get online this early in the morning, but I couldn't wait! After my lapse off ANY plan (I had switched from Atkins to CAD, having success on both plans.) during my son's hospitalization, and a few days afterward, and my subsequent 9-lb gain...

I'm back under 210, officially getting rid of my gain! It's not my "official" weigh-in day, but I felt things moving and got curious...

Way to go PFree!! Stress and worry do so much to knock the wind right out of you, so I'm so glad you were able to rebound so quickly. You do know that you inspire us all, right? Plus, your words of wisdom are appreciated. I wish both you and your son only health and happiness from here on. All the best - enjoy the holiday season together!

Congratulations for getting back on track. You are one of those people whom I draw a lot of inspiration from. You always have such helpful and clever things to say. Hope all is well with your son. You should be proud of your great success, we sure are. Happy Holidays.

Oh and you were right about not trying to teach a pig to dance. I finally had to
give up on it. Now when ever I try to get my pig to dance he just ignores me and
goes right back to his typing.

That's great!
It just shows how important it is to get back up when you stumble.
You are an inspiration...not just because you keep plugging away, but also because you have a great time doing it.

I've developed an adversarial relationship with my fat.. I WILL get to "one-derland" despite my thighs' protests!!!!

I hope I have some good Karma built up. I think of all the people I've NOT killed, or at least beaten senseless...<sigh>

Karma does exist, even if she seems slow and inefficient sometimes. Between the ex-boss that skipped owing me a paycheck showing up in yesterdays paper in court for about a thousand $$ in bad checks....and the guy who dumped me, then threatened my kids (yes, I did get a restraining order!) within the space of a week his new woman dumped him, he wrecked a truck, lost his job, got evicted, and his contact lenses got infected....

Way to go Tater! At least you'll have some notice this time for Steven's hip! I hope everything is ok and he doesn't have any complications. As for not killing anyone-I think you've shown remarkable restraint! Good luck to you on your trip to Onederland!

Way to go! Your loss all along has been so impressive. Good for you for getting right back too it despite what sounds like a stressful life. You definitely are an inspiration! And I love the kitty in your avatar. What a cutie!
