Default Thursday 5/27 Protein Power Pals

Happy Thursday everyone.

The week is coming to an end and the holiday is approaching. Not much planned for the weekend. I think we will try to get the grass cut. Bawdy we could sure use your tractor. With all the rain our poor lawn mower can't keep up it. Had to take it to the repair shop, hopefully we don't need to buy a new mower.

My girlfriend who is following Zone loaned me her book the The LOW-Carb bible. It has lots of wonderful recipes and the carb counts on many are not bad. In fact, some of them seem to good to be true. Has anyone used any of the recipes from this book? Just wondering if the are accurate with their counts.

My weight is hovering. I am at 168 this week. I am doing well on maintaining my weight. Unfortunately, I need to lose more but hey I guess I know I will be good at maintaining things when I lose the weight

Hope everyone is doing well! I will chech in later if I can, neighbor is leaving tomorrow after her daughter's preschool graduation and adults have a really nice steak dinner. Therese

Smile Good Morning All

I started the plan on Monday and it is going pretty smoothly. I read a little bit more from the Lifeplan book. There is just so much information that i constantly got overwehelmed. The good thing is that i get the gist of the program. The best thing about PP- is that as per hedonism-there are no carb restrictions, that makes it livable. I have my first challenge today since starting the plan, i would be spending the whole day away from home: so i've prepacked my snacks and meals. I tend to always cheat on diets because i would desire what i've being told not to have. I'm a lot calmer doing this. Have a great day everyone.

Hello Everyone!

My mom and dad are here visiting, so I just have a minute. I'm down 2 more pounds and I'm wearing a size 22 jeans. To me this is real progress, because I was wearing a 26 and they were tight. My dh took me to Costco yesterday and bought me 2 pairs of jeans in a size 18. They are Gloria Vanderbilt, so I figure they're probably a small 18, they also look small. But, that's ok, because I know they'll fit soon!
