I use stevia in my coffee. I find that I only use about 1/3 of a packet in a 12 oz cup of coffee. I used to use a whole packet of suger.

I bought a jar of powdered stevia last month and all I can say is "blech!" It was very bitter and tasted worse than saccharine. We planted a paraguay plant (stevia plant) in our garden last year and the leaves were sweet at first, but the aftertaste was terribly bitter. I hated it.

My friend Manages a GNC and suggested I try it. Splenda and Aspartame put me in a stall.

He gave me a few packets to try and said the packets are sweeter than the liquid. He also said if you use too much it tastes like Anise. YUCK!!

I use it in my tea if I have a cup and so far it seems okay.

I have not used it any other way yet.

Hi boy it is really hard to find a good Stevia. I use it to sweeten my tea it took awhile but I found KAL liquid pure Stevia is good to me, no after taste boy the powdered is painfully bitter to me. I use Splenda to cook with it cooks just like sugar. Pat S
