I have no idea how they think cutting the sugar only in half makes this product low carb. What is it, 18g a serving? Sheesh.

I truly hope we don't get it here in Canada (not that I've seen it yet). We do have these new labelling rules in Canada where they can't use the words "low carb" or "net carbs" at all, and even the old rules, it had to be less than 2g a serving....

I agree Island girl. They better not start serving that in schools claiming that's it's more healthy.

What I've never been able to understand is why ANYBODY would drink a regular soft drink when diet is available. Ok the sweetners aren't good for you but neither is sugar and at least with the sweetners you don't get the calories or carbs. I just don't get it when I see people of any size drink a non diet drink.

We have it in the Yukon so I imagine it is available elsewhere in Canada. Doesn't make much sense when you can by Diet Coke and it tastes great with no carbs.

I have one son that loves Coke but hates the taste of Diet Coke so this would be the only reason why I would buy it at first and then gradually wean him over to Diet. He's 15 years old, 6'1" and weighs less than 130 lbs so weight is not an issue, but the sugar is... I don't want to have spent thousands of dollars at the orthodontist (for braces) just to have his teeth rot out of his head

Hubby purchased one by accident, I read the can and could not beleive that anyone would drink it, it said 5 g carb per 100ml so once can equals about 18 carbs. That sure would gouble up alot of good carbs that someone might be able to eat.

I've seen it here in Burlington too. Silliest product ever in my opinion, but I suppose like Nikkil says, could be useful for those diet soft drink haters.

Maybe it was designed for people who aren't as low carb crazy as we are...you some people do have fears of aspartame, even though I use it I can bet that most of us low-carbers will be suffering from some sort of alziemers or dementia before someone that hasn't used aspartame...it's too bad that Coke and Pepsi couldn't use Splenda...

I think it might be good for someone like my brother who drinks *lots* of regular coke and has put on a lot of weight as a result.

I was kind of shocked when I saw him in July.

You can get it in Winnipeg, I just saw it in the corner store near my workplace, so I would assume you'll see it at 7 eleven and stuff too.

I've seen it EVERYWHERE now and I was shocked by the # of carbs in it, too. No good for me but okay for the teenagers in my house (oldest drinks Coke every day - has to buy it himself, tho ). I think I'll pick some up for them to see how they like it....

I was just at Safeway here in Sidney, and they have the C2 Coke there now. Also, it is advertised in the current London Drugs flyer for 2.99/12 cans.

I just saw it this evening at Superstore. $2.99 for 8 cans. I didn't see any carb count on the box though....but if you say 18 carbs per can...HOLY CROW!!! Thats high!

Thanks god we're not big pop drinkers in this house!
