I just read that I can have sugar free jello and vanilla and chocolate Atkins ice cream on induction. Please tell me this is true. If so has it been know to stall weight loss. I live next dore to Albertsons and they have everything.

I really try to encourage people to try to stay away from sweet things during induction, even if they are sugar-free. Induction is the time to kick those sugar cravings and that can be tough to do when you are feeding them even with artificial sweets.
Dr. Atkins does say that sugar-free jello is permitted during induction, but try to find some that is sweetened with Splenda instead of Aspartame. I'd really encourage you to hold off on that ice cream until after induction. One cup would likely put you over your limit on cream for the day.
Whether they stall you or not will depend on you and how your body reacts to artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame, Sucralose and sugar alcohols. Many people do find that artificial sweeteners do stall them. Others find that they can use them without a problem. Perhaps it would be better to get your weight loss off to a good start before finding out whether or not this type of stuff stalls you?

Atkins ice cream is not allowed on induction, nor is it sugar-free. If I remember correctly, it has 4 grams of sugar per serving.

try to stay away from the treats until after induction. think of them as something you'll look that much more forward to when you are ready to move into owl.

I have had an Atkins shake every day, and it helps. No cravings. I would not do the ice cream.
