additons to Tina's journey
When I was 29, I had no problem doing Atkins from the couch. It was one of the things I loved about it..no exercise..20 yrs later, and that much older, I have discovered that I have had to embrace that nasty "e" word (exercise). There aren't enough supplements in Atkins amino acid bag of tricks to counteract menopause-and if someone knows of one, pls tell me. I now try to walk/run at least 30 min a day, and average 200-300 calories..more if I have taken in hidden carbs. I am on my last 30, and I must say the first 50 was easy comparatively speaking.
