I love the Winsor Pilates series. I do either my cardio or weight lifitng in the morning and then the 20 minute DVD before dinner, everyday except Sunday. I am definitely noticing a difference. (I was just doing cardio and weights before). I may not see much of a difference on the scale, but the inches seem to be melting away and I FEEL longer and leaner.
In terms of the order, with the set that I have, there is a basic 8 minute DVD that is for instruction only, then the 20 minute DVD which I use as my main one for now, and then there is an hour DVD that is supposed to be advanced, I think-which I am working up to.
Good luck and have fun with it!

Default pill-whatee's?

Hey! I'm interested in pilates too now. I've been working out at the gym like a good rat. I'm considering this because I want that "jean claud van dam" body. I just don't know whether to buy a video/dvd or join a class at the gym. I guess you can do this stuff w/o having one of those pilates machines.?

See ya'll soon!

Not sure if I have the same ones. Just bought mine this week.

Did your friend do the recording for you or is it an original tape? I'm a little confused because mine came in a three tape set.

First there is "Basics" which show you the 7 basic moves (I'm still on this one trying to learn the different moves)

Then there's "20 Minute Workout" and "Accelerated Body Sculpting"

The brochure that came with it recommends -

For maximum weight loss do:
- MonWedFri - Accelerated Sculpting,
- TueThuSat - 20 Minute Workout or Windsor Dozen (this is a pamphlet included in the set showing 12 moves - it's for when travelling or when you can't get to a VCR to do the tapes)

For accelerated Muscle-Toning & Sculpting do:
- MonWedFri - 20 Minute Workout
- Tue OR Thu - Accelerated Sculpting
- Sat - Windsor Dozen

For body maintenance do:
- Accelerated Sculpting 3x per week OR
- 20 Minute Workout 5x per week

Tight on Time do:
- MonWedFri - 20 Minute Workout
- TueThuSat - Windsor Dozen

Hope this helps

Thanks that really clears things up for me, now I know what I'm suppose to be doing.

Dave- you don't need the machine they have tons of tapes out now for pilates.
