Unhappy I cheated

I cheated !!!

After a lil over 2 months I gave in! It was my daughters birthday party and I said hell with this and had cake, chips, ice-cream.. then later on had fish and chips and a another piece of cake with ice-cream!!

That was yesterday and I now feel absolutely terrible and gross. Mind you it did taste yummy. But I feel so guilty!

Checked my weight today and up a few pounds too!

Just wondered how long now it's gonna take to get back into Ketosis?

If you get right back to it, you should be back "in" relatively quickly. A lot of the weight is just water from the excess carbs, so it should go away fairly soon as well. Drink extra water and stick to the plan as you were before the cake attack, and you'll be back on track before you know it!

Don't let it get you down. Nobody's perfect.

If this is a WOL for you, don't think of it as a cheat...it is a choice you made...and it is a choice we will all make occasionally!

Don't beat yourself up about it. You recognized it, you realize it was "yummy" but it did not make you feel too great in the end.
Move on and get back on track.
Your doing great and can continue to do great! Good luck!

Didn't realize before but once I had those carbs in my system I kept craving them.. a very struggling day it had been. But I am back on track now.

Thanks =)
