Red face Some people...

I was talking to a co-worker of mine yesterday (who said I lost a lot of weight, BTW - always nice to hear ) and she was telling me she's been reading lately about how they're starting to rethink the food pyramid and the consumption of carbs. So she decided she really needed to lose some weight and, totally on her own not following a plan, decided to do a no carb diet. She's only eating meat, fish, poultry, and a little cheese (no veggies...) She's been doing it for 9 days and has lost 5 1/2 pounds (didn't have the heart to tell her most of that is water weight...) She wants to keep at it for a couple more weeks and then move to something a little less strict at which time she may be "chatting with me".

Don't you just love these no-carbers???

Had to share,
Tam

She's actually doing Stillman from the sounds of it. Designed for a few weeks - usually used by patients who need to lose weight fast for some reason or another. It's done for a few weeks because that is how long it can be reasonably done for. You might want to point her in the direction of some SF metamucil or psyllium husk - she may need it soon
