Default what about a warm-up?

Well, started BLF today.

But when I went to start the upper body work I realized there was no warm up.

I did one anyone on the treadmill. But what gives? is the level 5 intensity in the beginning the warm-up? Is this really safe? I hate treadmills but I love to stretch. Should I stretch after?

Help!

For upper body workouts, I just started in, with my level 5 intensity acting as a warm up. When he talks about the 20MAS in the book, level 5 intensity equivalent is walking. On lower body days when I was going to be starting with squats, I would march around a bit until I could feel my legs were awake enough to do what I was going to be asking them to do.
