Default Starting again, after a long vacation from LC

I have been off the LC WOL for about a month and a half, I had some trying emotional family times, and fell off the wagon.

But I'm back on! And my husband is along for the ride!

I gained back 6 pounds in the month and a half. Not too bad, I guess, could be worse. So now my husband, who is also a diabetic, has joined up and in the first three days we have both lost 5 pounds! Very nice.

We aren't doing any specific diet, just staying under 30 grams carbs per day. Both of our chronic heart burn has gone away, but hubby has had bad headache for the three days. Hopefully that'll go away.

Anyway, we both have a lot to lose. Hubby has type II diabetes and high blood pressure, he's on meds for both. He started at 269 (he's only 5 foot 10). He needs to lose about 80 pounds we'd say. I started at 228, and I'm 5 foot 7, I also need to lost about 80 pounds at least.

I am hopeful that this time, by doing it together we will succeed. And with the help of these forums, of course!!
