Exclamation First it was woozy now on to b*tchy!

Whoa! I have a little tiny itty bitty weeny fuse today. Does the lack of carbs and withdrawl just make a woman crazy? Now, I am cutting out dairy as well (don't worry, I am taking a supplement) so my normal stress relief of ice cream is unavailable. Do I need to find a new source of happy chemicals? Will this pass?
My family hopes so. I joke with my hubby that the saying is true:
"If mama ain't happy, then ain't nobody happy".
*Sorry for all the "ain'ts".

Actually, momma, it can make everyone crabby, not just women

"This too shall pass" - and it will. Keep drinking the water, eat more frequent, smaller meals that contain some protein and hang tight. One of the best producers of 'happy chemicals' is exercise - always a great idea, no?

I had that too a bit off and on. You should have seen me last week when PMSing...I could have bitten someone's head off. I don't normally have PMS, so obviously it is from this WOE...and I hope it settles down. It must have to do with the meat and hormones and stuff like that. I might have to research that a bit more.

My only saving grace is that there is no man in my house, because I would have killed one. I am not as nasty to my kids when I'm a b*tch (I don't think).

My best advice is to get some exercise to increase those serotonin levels. I went for a walk and felt better, went to the gym and felt better. Try it.

I can testify to that. Around day 3, my DH was biting everyone's head off until I gently reminded him that our children weren't on the menu. LOL
I think I finally got his attention when I laughingly asked him if I could find him a tire to gnaw on (yes, I'm brave and somtimes stupid LOL).
