Is there a calculator that will figure out the amount of carbs that i need in a day to give my muscles enough glycogen.
I guess that I am too hardcore on the Atkins, and I don't want to start throwing in Carbs and end up a lethargic waste of space. I do resistance training 4 times a week with a split set routine.
I have been lifting weights for 7 years now with the purpose of strength training, now i want to switch to bodybuilding. Please give me enough info that will allow me to start eating Carbs without being worried.
Thanks

In my opinion you need WAY more carbs then Atkins allows if you want to bulk up. For quality mass gain I feel you need a combination of carbs, protein, and healthy fats. Atkins is not designed to gain mass for bodybuilders and the CKD thats discussed here MIGHT let you gain some muscle buts its primarily to keep muscle while dieting.
Right now your diet plans and bodybuilding plans wont mesh well. If you want to really bulk up you need to ditch Atkins.
