i have no clue anymore what my bloodtype is. i had picked up the blood type diet books at a yard sale, brand new for .50 cents, read them, and it didn't really come off as feasible to me, so i sold the books on ebay for a small fortune instead, went on atkins, and never looked back.

I've never tried a blood type diet. I have done low fat/low cal and got fat. I've done and continue to do Atkins. I lost the weight and now maintain it by moving up the ladder. My blood type is also O-.

Isn't that about like saying, "Why didn't our ancestors or tribes around the world use Microsoft Office?" Blood typing didn't exist before 1901.

I'm B+ I don't think the blood type diet is very solid, either.

Yes, according to Dr. D'Adamo, we Type O are low-carb because we're less evolved from our hunter-gatherer ancestors.

Low-carb -- so easy a caveman could do it!

You saw those commercials too? where the caveman is in therapy..? now, commercials.. thats a whole other thread!

p.s. My sister lent me this book years ago. it gathered dust for a long while, then I gave it back. Read it, never put much stock in it.
