Great Vegi Salad
I have been low carbing for 3 weeks now and last week found this site. My wife and I are so happy we found you!!!! We have tried some of the dishes on this site and have added to our choices greatly. I have a very good vegi salad that might help some of the meat and potato types like me here.
Measurements are not exact, and I dont have a carb count, but here it goes:
Broccoli/Cauliflower salad:
:ingredients:
1 head Cauliflower (cut to small pieces)
Broccoli (match amount of Cauliflower, small pieces)
1 box Bacon (cook to crisp and crush)
1 cup Mayonnaise
2-4 tbl Red Wine Vinegar
5 green onions (chopped)
1-2 cups Cheddar Cheese. (shredded)
:mixing instructions:
-In large bowl, add Broccoli and Cauliflower, bacon, green onions and cheese.
-In another bowl, add and mix Mayo and Vinegar.
-Add Mayo/Vinegar mix to large bowl and mix together well.
Ready to eat.
I have never liked Vegis, especially Broccoli, but I will eat this. Give it a try.
