Default cheat treat!

well!
Last night for the first time in 3 months, I allowed myself to 'cheat'! First I went for sushi, then I ate over 1 cup full of belgian chocolate ice cream while watching a video.

I know this goes against the eating plan, but in another way, it was a conscious decison to allow myself some of the stuff I havent eaten for 3 months. I was also VERY aware that 1 cup of the ice cream alone was 56 gram of carbs. What this does is makes me really aware of how much carb I was getting before this WOE, and makes me appreciate this new knowledge and the way I feel now that I am LCing. It just makes me see how moderation is important.

I am not feeling guilty today, just back eating the same as I was over the past 3 months, its also been helpful to read all the other posts from those who allow themselves to indulge once in awhile.

Even though cheating shouldnt be considered a treat, but I feel like I have more power now to choose foods properly!

thanks for all the support on this forum, it is really encouraging!

Hi Deze,

You have the right attitude. There's no need to feel guilty. You planned it ahead of time, so you're in control. We all enjoy the 'naughty' things every now and then. Most people feel negative consequenses the next day, and that reinforces our decision to only have them every now and then!
